Duetica.com: "Live Simply" Canvas Art
I made this Tuesday 8/16 to brighten my mood, it's been raining and chilly here for 2 days!
Be sure to visit duetica.com for ideas and inspiration.
Duetica Fonts: DT Mandolyn-2-A00
Other Supplies:
6x6 wrapped canvas
Acrylic paint -lime green, pale yellow, brown, tan
metal butterfly (old Home Interiors & Gifts)
cream mulberry paper
Alcohol Ink-Adirondak Stream, Denim (Ranger)
Ice stickles (Ranger)
fabric flowers - Teters
Brass Charm - unknown
Flower Soft for center of flowers
Xyron sticker maker
I first painted the canvas, blending both green and yellow. The title is printed onto mulberry paper, then moistened around the edges and torn. I use the Xyron to adhere it to the canvas, then stippled the background with both yellow and green paint to help soften edges of the paper. The branches are hand painted and random. Attach flowers, the colorful centers, and the charm. I pounced alcohol ink onto the metal butterfly, let dry and attach with glue. The title is highlighted with a very small amount of stickles.
